The 18th Judicial District Bar is a subdivision of the North Carolina State Bar and is a mandatory association for lawyers who work in the 18th Judicial District, which consist of Orange County and Chatham County.

Please join us for the 18th Judicial District Bar Swearing-In Ceremony on Friday, September 25, 2026, in the Mural Courtroom at the Orange County Courthouse. The ceremony will be presided over by The Honorable Judge Joal Broun as we welcome the district’s newest attorneys to the practice of law.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony. We look forward to celebrating this special milestone with our newest members of the legal community, their families, friends, and colleagues.
